Spanish Classes

Why Learn Another Language?

Language is a terrific way to bridge cultures and broaden understanding of the world around us. Adult classes range from core beginner to advanced level classes, as well as Spanish Conversation through literature and the arts. Also check out Saturday Intercambios, an English/Spanish language exchange, as a great supplement to your Spanish class.

Things You Should Know

• We keep class cost low through advance planning and low overhead. Our part-time administrative staff will return inquiries within 48 hours. Please plan early for placement testing and registration.
• Placement testing is required for new students interested in levels Beginning 2 through Spanish Conversation. Testing is FREE and takes place in our Minneapolis office. Placement testing must be completed prior to class registration and can be completed in open houses advertised before each new 10-week session, or by appointment. Contact the Education Coordinator.

Group Sales and Off-Site Classes

• We offer significantly discounted rates on group classes organized by organizations. We can conduct Spanish language classes at your facility or ours, and can customize the experience per your needs. Contact the Executive Director to obtain estimates on group discounts and off-site classes.

Cross-Cultural Classes

Classes at the Resource Center of the Americas offer the opportunity to learn about Latin America, the global economic system, human rights and social justice issues.
